Happy Halloween....BOO!

Just in time for Halloween Darth Cheney is back:
Vice President Cheney sometimes starts speeches with a Ronald Reagan quotation about a "happy" nation needing "hope and faith." But not much happy talk follows. Not a lot of hope, either. He does, though, talk about the prospect of "mass death in the United States."
The not-so-happy warrior of the past two campaign cycles is back on the road delivering a grim message about danger, defeatism and the stakes of the coming election......Cheney remains focused on the terrorists, who are, as he says in his stump speech, "still lethal, still desperately trying to hit us again." Bush, he says, is "protecting America" while the Democrats advocate "reckless" policies that add up to a "strategy of resignation and defeatism in the face of determined enemies."
Now wait...Reckless:  1 : marked by lack of proper caution : careless of consequences.
Wow! That sounds just like how we got into this war with Cheney talking about the flowers and candies and no exit plan. The one who didn't anticipate removal of Saddam would make Iran a major player in the area and ally of Iraq.   Mr. Reckless calling the kettle black.

But the message is carefully targeted. More than half of Cheney's fundraisers in this two-year cycle have been behind closed doors. Even at a lunchtime speech to Wisconsin Republican donors that was open to reporters, gubernatorial candidate Rep. Mark Green did not stand on stage, ensuring no pictures of the two together on the news, and some other Republican candidates did not attend at all.
In other words it is expressly for the bloodlust, liberals are the REAL enemy, wildeyed wingnuts and most of the candidates know that is not something they want to be associated with.

"He's a good carrier of the Republican message," said Michigan GOP Chairman Saul Anuzis..
Keep that in mind. Republican leaders profess he carries the Republican message.  Dick Cheney, The one man in America who has been more consistantly and insistantly wrong on everything that comes out of his mouth carries the Republican message.

In Houston last week, he accused Democrats of "apparently having lost their perspective concerning the nature of the enemy."
Yep, the liberals want a theocratic nation where women are given second class status. Of course this sounds much more like the Evangelical Republicans but as noted above Cheney is consistant in being WRONG on everything.

President Cheney uses fear more often and more effectively than anyone in the country.  Sorry Dick, I live in the land of the FREE and the home of the BRAVE.  I'm not sure what country you are talking about.
