Coffee Table

So many things happening, so few points left to be made. If you don't see what's going on by now you don't want to see it and nothing anybody says is going to change your mind. The position of the right is firmly established. With that in mind there are some basic understandings and truths we need to consider before the next election. First, it turns out that laissez-faire capitalism is anything but fair and reasonable. It is closer to anarchy than to equality.
As guessed, it also proves to be true that if you think government is only a problem and should be made so small you can drown it in the bathtub, then you probably aren't going to be a particularly good or dedicated administrator.

As another blogger said:

"The fundamental political philosophy that underlies the entire conservative movement is the belief that Government doesn't work. If you keep that in mind as you watch them attempt to govern, their inexplicable actions begin to make a little more sense."
